Cottage by the Sea Classy Shades Interior Design and Window Treatments

This guest room needed to have some window treatments that were capable of blocking out the sun and
moonlight for sleeping. I designed the roman shades with blackout lining and created the curtains to
balance out the design and add a feminine softness to the room. The fabric was chosen based on how
the client wanted the room to feel. Summertime even in the gray days of November. The fabric chosen
highlights this emotion of summertime and is accented with a blue stripe fabric that completes the
feeling. I accented the leading edge of the curtains and roman shades with a small tassel fringe that is a
perfect finish for these treatments.

A duvet cover was made with matching shams and an accent pillow to complete the room.
